The next election in the Commonwealth of Kentucky will be on May 20, 2008, and includes the Presidential Preference Primary for the 2008 Presidential Nomination of the Democratic and Repbulican Parties as well as the Democratic and Republican primaries for U.S. Senate, U.S. House, and State House of Representatives candidates (Greenup County has no State Senate race in 2008). The following is a listing of candidates that will appear on the ballot. Voters can only vote in the Primary of the Party under which they are registered as of December 31, 2007. Changes in party affiliation made after December 31, 2007, will NOT take affect for this primary.
